Visiting impoverished students, warmth touches the heart | Visiting impoverished households in our county

After the launch ceremony of the internal motivation enhancement mechanism for social large-scale assistance pilot in Pingyuan, members of the foundation took active action, forming a "three help one" team with several support cadres and teachers from our county to visit and comfort many impoverished students in our county. During the visits, our staff worked with support cadres to understand the students' family situations and actual difficulties in detail, provided learning and living supplies, and introduced parents to the students' learning and living conditions at school, as well as the "Yuan Man Bang" funding and support policies. At the same time, they encouraged students to face difficulties squarely, hone their willpower, maintain a spirit of hard work and perseverance, bravely fight against difficulties, study hard, change their own and their families' destinies with knowledge, and give back to society with excellent results.

All happy families are alike; each unhappy family is unhappy in its own way. Student Sun from Wanggaopu Town is one of those visited this time. Both his parents have mental illnesses; his mother also suffers from epilepsy with frequent seizures and has been on medication for years. His grandfather has a broken right leg, and the family's livelihood relies solely on low-income support and his grandmother's farming. The family's conditions are extremely difficult. The child's grandmother shed tears when mentioning the family situation; she said: "The child's mother often has seizures and needs long-term care; my grandfather cannot work due to his broken leg; I also have to take care of the child who goes to school. I have to manage everyone's daily life. But seeing my grandchild gives me motivation; I dare not slack off and do my best to take care of both young and old at home." All the pressure of living falls on the 70-year-old grandmother's shoulders; her grandchild is her only hope. Besides expressing gratitude for our visit, she emphasized that we should pay more attention to her grandchild's studies. Fortunately, little Sun has not let everyone down; he has consistently performed well academically and achieved excellent results in this semester's midterm exams.

In this "Yuan Man Bang" activity, the Pingyuan County Fuyang Education Development Foundation provided funding for 215 impoverished students from low-income families selected from our county, giving each student 1,000 yuan. The funding will be distributed uniformly to the children before the Spring Festival. Currently it is winter; this activity is like a silent spring breeze that opens up educational assistance across Pingyuan land, blooming warm flowers of help for those in need and flowers of hope. The social large-scale assistance "Yuan Man Bang" activity sends care and love to impoverished students while bringing warmth to their families; this fully reflects the true value of providing timely help during difficult times. In the future, Fuyang Education Development Foundation will continue to innovate forms of educational assistance activities to contribute to our county's education cause while calling on more caring groups and individuals to actively show their love by participating in such heartwarming projects.
