Texas and Ocean Biotechnology Co., Ltd.

Texas and Ocean Biotechnology Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shandong Fuyang Biotechnology Co., Ltd., covering an area of 300 acres. The company's high-end starch and deep processing project is a key investment attraction project for the county and a major provincial project, with a total investment of 1.12 billion yuan, which began construction in March 2021. With the support and assistance of the municipal and county party committees and governments, the company quickly completed all approval procedures for the project and smoothly advanced its construction. Currently, more than 2,600 new pieces of equipment have been installed, including the corn starch production workshop, grain storage system, sodium gluconate workshop, and power workshop, all of which have been completed and put into production. The project has three main characteristics:
First, it has a high technological content. Using the project as a carrier, it collaborates with institutions such as the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Beijing University of Chemical Technology to tackle nine core technologies or products. Among them, six technologies related to enzyme-based chemical manufacturing are leading in their fields; these products are high-end with significant technological added value and broad market prospects.
Second, there is a deep integration of information technology and biotechnology. It plays a strong demonstrative role in green development and intelligent manufacturing while maintaining low energy consumption and pollution levels; this is also an effective way to address carbon neutrality.
Third, it supports rural revitalization. With the addition of 1 million tons of corn processing capacity from this project, Fuyang Group's total corn processing volume has reached 2 million tons, driving over 4 million acres of surrounding corn planting area—almost half of Dezhou's corn planting area—resulting in an annual increase in farmers' income by 200 million yuan. Additionally, it can promote the development of various industries such as animal husbandry, food processing, packaging logistics, further enhancing Pingyuan County's reputation as a 'National Starch Deep Processing Industry Cluster Area.'
